Our sustainability promise & social plan

Beautiful moments should be celebrated. Now, but also in the future. Haza-Witbaard would like to continue to be part of these beautiful moments with her festive items. In order to continue to enjoy this, attention to the beautiful world around us is desperately needed.

Our vision full of challenges

We are aware that the biggest challenges in the world cannot be tackled by one company alone, but we want to be part of the solution to the challenges we face within our market. Our vision is aimed at the growth of our company, in which we are committed to responsible business operations. That is why we naturally keep an eye on the laws and regulations, but we also proactively make choices. In a competitive market, where the lowest price, cheapest materials and production process are often decisive, we want to take our responsibility in this. We are constantly looking for the right balance, whereby we not only take into account the price, but also sustainability and working conditions.

As a result, Haza-Witbaard is constantly assessing how our new and existing products can be produced as consciously as possible. We do this across the board of the process. From development and production to transport. Where the possibilities allow, we will opt for a conscious and better solution without losing sight of our vision. That is why we have formulated principles to which we will conform and which our customers can adhere to.

Our plan and sustainability promise

  • We are looking for more sustainable materials for our products so that reuse is possible and we are making more frequent use of recyclable plastic. We offer choices to our customers.
  • We will stop using single-use plastic items, such as plastic straws.
  • We encourage our customers to reuse (do not promote throwing away, provide information).
  • We will look for alternative packaging, where possible less plastic and/or recyclable plastic.
  • We opt for cooperation with companies that offer good working conditions to employees. For the longer term, it will be examined whether it is feasible to work more often with suppliers/manufacturers at a shorter distance and we will look for less environmentally harmful transport.
